The Zar, is an instrument that was conjured in 1975. It looks like a combination sitar meets drum, with multiple buzzing and snapping possibilities. When the guitar and voice are added , the result defies any category of music, other then to say, that it resembles a mix of primal soundings with contemporary production, in order to produce a wild mix of blurring worlds, colliding tunnels of perception, and the random plunge into hyperspace. Enjoy.
